General procurement notice for Acquisition of IT equipment for GGW national structures
The Panafrican Agency of the Great Green Wall (APGMV), whose headquarters is based in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, has received from the African Development Bank a donation for the financing of the Support Project for the implementation of the Initiative of the Great Green Wall in Eritrea, Mali, Niger, Sudan and Chad.
This project has the following main objectives: contribute to the implementation of the Priority Investment Plan 2021-20230, by strengthening the technical and institutional capacities of the structures and countries of the eligible initiative, by strengthening the monitoring system -assessment at regional and national levels and the mobilization of resources through a program of adaptation to climate change, development of forestry and pastoral agricultural value chains, deployment of sustainable land management techniques.
The procurement methods and procedures used are those of the African Development Bank (ADB). All eligible member states of the Bank are eligible.
The project has three components: (i) Strengthening of the Monitoring & Evaluation system, (ii) Support for Resource Mobilization and, (iii) Project Management.
All procurements (goods and works, consultancy services) will be made in accordance with the Bank%s Rules and Procedures dated October 2015, using the appropriate standard Bank documents.
